RBL Poppy Day and we are going to have it!

September 18, 2011 in Charity Articles, Slideshow by Tim Wade

It is soon to be RBL Poppy Day and WE ARE Going to HAVE It, despite grapevines spreading on facebook, of local councils banning the sale of Royal British Legion (RBL) poppies, or the flying the flags of our nation, or anything similar. It is a day for the families, friends, Veterans and the military community of Britain to respect and remember those that have made the Ultimate Sacrifice for Great Britain, and the right to pay these respects without fear of political/civil bureaucracy, or religious protest.

AS MEMBERS OF THE VETERAN COMMUNITY OF THIS COUNTRY’S ARMED FORCES, IT IS ONLY THE BARE MINIMUM RESPECT THAT OUR COMMUNITY DESERVES!

We expect no shops or pubs to refuse the RBL the right to collect or sell poppies (especially because of the fear of upsetting any migrant communities), and we expect no employers to ban the right of British people to wear their Poppy proudly, both inside and outside the workplace.

Feel free to join the “RBL Poppy Day and WE ARE Going to HAVE It” awareness campaign on Facebook, or join The OOA Community using the blue “Connect with Facebook” button to the right of this page.

Anybody not respecting these wishes, please feel free to “name and shame” them with the commenting system below, and we at The OOA will make contact with the Head Offices of these organisations. GSTQ
